Yes — I often work from provided ideas, reference images, or even rough sketches. Whether you’ve got a fully formed concept or just a loose idea, I can help visualise it, refine it, and bring it to life. The more context and intent you can share, the better I can tailor the result.
You can reach out via my Contact page with a short overview of what you're looking for — including the type of work, your timeline, and any references or goals you have in mind. I’ll follow up to clarify scope, provide an indicative quote, and agree next steps. I'm happy to discuss ideas at any stage, from early concept to final delivery.
Turnaround depends on the scope and complexity of the project, but most commissions are completed within 1 to 3 weeks. Larger or more technical projects will take longer. I’ll always try to give a realistic timeline up front — and if your deadline is tight, just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate it.
Yes — most commissioned work includes an exclusive license by default, meaning it won’t be resold or reused elsewhere. For asset packs and digital products I offer extended or exclusive licenses for studios. Let me know your intended use and I’ll advise on the best option.
Commission pricing varies based on the complexity, style, and intended use of the work. Simple still images start at around £150, while larger visualisation or immersive projects are quoted individually. I’ll provide a clear, no-obligation quote once I understand your needs — and I’m happy to tailor scope to fit within a reasonable budget.
Yes — I offer 1:1 tutoring for artists and creators who want to improve their skills in digital art, visualisation, or creative workflows. Whether you're just starting out or looking to level up in specific areas like 3D modelling, rendering, or scene design, I can tailor sessions to your needs. If you're interested in tutoring, feel free to get in touch and let me know what you'd like to learn.
Yes — part of what I enjoy most is sharing how the work comes together. On Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms, I post process shots, experiments, early renders, and thoughts about what’s working (or not). If you're curious about technique, inspiration, or the tools I use, you'll find ongoing glimpses into the studio and the creative process.
I first fell in love with computer graphics as a child, when a friend unwrapped a Sinclair ZX81 one Christmas. The graphics were primitive, but something about that tiny black-and-white world captured my imagination. Through my teens, I was there — learning to code while watching wide-eyed as home computing evolved — and I always knew I wanted to work with visual technology professionally. I was drawn to how things work: dismantling, studying, and understanding engineered objects, and later, in my profession, concepts and systems. That engineering mindset, combined with a lifelong love of CG, shaped how I see structure, detail, and design. Over time, I realised I could blend that discipline with creative expression to craft visuals that don’t just look good — they communicate and immerse. Simon Pollard Studios is the evolution of that journey.
Just reach out! I’m happy to help you shape an idea, figure out the right format, or guide you toward the best next step.
