I'm Simon Pollard - a digital artist, visualiser, and builder of immersive
worlds.
I’ve been drawn to computers and creativity for as long as I can remember — from early experiments on a Commodore Plus/4 to decades spent exploring the intersection of engineering and visual storytelling. With a background in technical disciplines and a lifelong love of digital art, I’ve always found myself returning to the same quiet urge: to make things that feel meaningful.
What I wanted was never about noise or scale. I wanted to create work that moves people — not just visually, but emotionally. I wanted to build scenes that invite reflection, textures that feel grounded, audio that stirs something beneath the surface. I didn’t want to chase trends — I wanted to create with intention.
For years, I worked in high-responsibility technical roles, building systems, solving problems, leading with structure. But something was missing: the creative spark, the emotional depth, the freedom to pursue projects that stirred me. Like many, I felt the tension between the safe path and the soulful one. Time was tight. Doubts crept in. But the urge to create never left.
Eventually, I made the decision to change course. I built Simon Pollard Studios not as a production house, but as a focused solo practice — a place where I could blend my engineering precision with artistic sensitivity. A place where quiet craftsmanship matters more than volume. Where digital creations are made to be felt.
This isn’t a content factory. There’s no churn, no trend-chasing. Just a clear focus on creating work that’s meaningful — and made to last.
Today, I work with clients and collaborators who value clarity, emotion, and quality. Everything I create has the same goal: to bring ideas to life with soul. Whether I’m visualising an idea, composing a technical image, or crafting an immersive cinematic world, I work calmly and deliberately, helping others create feeling from the digital world.
